Tempamental does not collect any personal information directly. We do not require you to create an account, register, or submit any personal details to use the site.

The only data stored on your device is a single entry in your browser's local storage, which remembers your preferred default city. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Google Analytics

Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on the site. AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. This allows Google to show you more relevant advertisements.

Weather data

Temperature, humidity, and wind speed data is fetched in real time from Open-Meteo, a free and open-source weather API. When the site loads, your browser makes requests directly to Open-Meteo's servers. Open-Meteo does not require user accounts and does not store personal data. Location data

If you grant permission, Tempamental uses your browser's built-in geolocation API to detect your approximate location and automatically select your nearest city. This location data is used only to identify the nearest city in our list — it is never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere beyond your current browser session. You can deny location permission and the site will work normally using your manually selected default city.

Cookies

Tempamental itself does not set cookies. However, Google Analytics and Google AdSense set their own cookies as described above. These are standard industry cookies used for analytics and advertising purposes.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection law including the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since Tempamental does not collect personal data directly, any such requests relating to analytics or advertising data should be directed to Google.
